Gotta give ya some credit;
how on earth did ya do it?
Right in the middle of a divorce;
you really had no other recourse.
That job just about did you in;
your life seemingly in a tailspin.
The lawyers didn't give you not even one ear;
ignored your disability, all they did was sneer.
Your preexisting condition they totally disregarded;
negative repercussions, notoriously hardheaded.
They only wanted the money, pad their own pocket;
to them you were just another number on the docket.
Your sons took sides, it was totally unfair;
your limited faith shaken, more than you could bear.
You kept thinking about what tomorrow will hold;
now you know that your faith gave you the foothold.
Sometimes you felt forsaken, but you were really not;
we all have free will, and so we're not like a robot.
Someone had to tell you, by faith we move mountains;
fretting only tends to evil, don't listen to the goblins.
Gotta give ya some credit;
how on earth did ya do it?
Now in retrospect, you see one set of footprints;
before there were two, remember now all the hints.
