I hate those dirty pennies;
I really, really do.
Can't wait to get rid of 'em;
some are covered in goo.
How they get so gross,
I'll never really know.
Sick of washing my hands;
filthy as a darn hippo.
The only good thing about 'em;
they say, In God We Trust.
A penny lost, now and then;
surely kept from utter disgust.
My uncle collected coins after he lost everything in the 29 stock market crash. He amassed a small fortune getting his hands dirty sorting coins had left his wife and children a great legacy of wealth.
