Poem of a child's attempt to tell of abuse.
A weeping willow stands silent- alone against the sky- As do I. Nothing spoken, nothing told- Who would listen?- Only I. The woodsman's axe tears against the bark, slowly snuffing the life from a harmless creation- Such as I. No tears flow- only God knows the pain-God and I. Connie Gunn 6/97 all rights reserved
