Two very personal moments remembered: the death of my mother and the birth of my granddaughter

Two Moments in Time

Etched in emotion
Two moments in time,
Locked in recesses
Found deep in my mind.

Mum still and silent,
No time for goodbyes,
Life ebbed without struggle,
Pain faded away.

"Blow out the candles"
A new life's begun…
From daughter came daughter,
The world in my arms!
