How I feel today after spending the entire week between packing up our old houseparent apartment, moving it to the new one to unpack, then cleaning the old one (we vacuumed, shampooed, scrubbed walls, windows, dusted, you name it we cleaned it) all during the hours of 8:30 - 2:30 each day since we have 10 middle school boys around the rest of the day. This is what I came up with:
extreme exhaustion pack then unpack, clean the house move almost complete
If I begin at birth:
Born in Hanover, Mass; moved to Cherry Point, NC; Moved to Hamburg, NY; moved to a different house while there; and yet again move to a different house while still in Hamburg NY area (all these moves are before age 5); as an adult...moved to Greeley, CO; move back to Hamburg, NY; Moved back to Cherry Point; then off to Phoenix, AZ; then here to Hershey PA into a Housparent training apartment; then into our furst student home; and now here. Phew...so how many moves is that? Hopefully I am done for a while.
I am about to move again in a few months, and am NOT
looking forward to it! You expressed your exhaustion

have moved three times in my life: once when i was five, in 1999, when i came to texas, and four years ago, when we moved to an apt. just up the complex. we needed a bigger place.
