Winter's chill can certainly conjure up warm moments. Unfortunately, those days are gone for you and I living down where images like you show rarely occur, warm hearths are not built into hovels and not used by many. But we can still be touched by a warm hand and hot chocolate if we are lucky.
What I appreciate about this piece is the nature of the last stanza suggesting that the images could represent an ethereal enigma or a real being.
