A kiss worth waiting for
Her lips like petals from a fragrant rose.
Whether we have come together
Rightly, or wrongly,
We are here,
She in her world, I in mine,
Together
At night when slumber calls,
I lose myself,
We have constructed a world
Independent of kith or kin.
Our world is as unlimited,
As our thoughts can carry us,
Infinity stretches beyond our desires,
We have boundless possibilities,
To let our passions grow.
I have deep, deep feelings for her,
Some would call that love,
I’ll not argue the fine points.
Across arid mountainous swells and the low, moist grasslands, I'm sure your message is well received. Lips waiting to be kissed, then softly bitten are waiting for you in her world I'm sure. Your words create this image.
A realistic pondering of validity in love. Infatuation? Enigma? Pacification for sanity's sake? Perhaps any of the above, but for the reader, a choice for his or her own self identity. Challenging thoughts, Jerry.
