So many ducks on Christmas Day
I can't count them,
Drakes, momma hen, chicks, they're all gems.
A brilliant blue sky up above,
It brings to mind eternal love.
It feels like spring-time of the year,
Everything's blooming, not austere.
Such a minor thing to behold,
But it is as precious as glittering gold.
I will remember this Christmas Day evermore,
And each time I do I'll say my cheers!
It was warm here, too. And I can envision what you were seeing. I didn't know that ducks raised families in their winter quarters, too. I like it when I learn something new every day.
