Diving into the waves,
Of the Bosphorous,
The beckoning mermaid,
Waves her hand,
Of slender pearl white,
As she disappears,
Down below underneath,
The navy blue setting,
Glides continuously,
And I look around,
The bustling crowd,
Of sightseers pass by,
And folk songs sing lyrics,
Of black sea tales,
Of long lost yesterdays,
All buried in today's history.
