Meters of silk lay on the table,
In beautiful soft colours,
Rich velvets drape along the side,
As women feel the material,
Between their fingers,
Of pure cotton, And linen,
As they slide their hands,
Carressing the texture,
And feel the thick wool,
The imaginery clothes,
Await to be stitched,
In the minds of the stylist.

My mother sews pretty good and I know what you mean in this poem!! Those moments of the imagination are great ones like the one when you write this poem giving us a feeling of the silks and linens under our skins!
