Wounds of childhood,
Have been locked up,
In closets above,
Deep in the attic,
Where they are kept,
And willed to be lost,
Alas! As they surface,
Now and then, afresh,
And are remembered,
Never to be forgotten,
But only to be forgiven.

So deep, so truthful. A little bit sad, though. Great poem
