Echoes of prayer resonate,
Among the thick stone walls,
That fill up the halls,
Of the dark monastery,
Located in the heart of Turkey,
In Mardin, The ancient city,
Dar-uz-Zefaran, Home of Safran,
A place holy,
For people,
Of Orthodox Chrisitanity.
