Green grass growing,
On the meadows beyond.
The old stone houses,
Stand cold and strong.
The blue pond sits,
Further down the lane.
All is quiet,
Without bliss,
And anything humane.
Hi Esra, this gives me a lot of thought for contemplation. It makes me think of the emptiness inside us while the world turns unaware and a lot of times attacking us. Very good poem.
