Like a lake stands the sea,
As shades of sprinkled light,
Shine shyly amidst large rocks,
Under the calm ripples,
Of reflection from within,
The water still remains,
As if t'were stagnant,
And death had just kissed,
So softly leaving us,
Unawares of the outcome,
And I wander about the loss,
Of virility that had once been,
Yet the water still remains,
I ponder dubiously,
Unable to prevent myself,
With thoughts of reminiscence,
That must be rolled deep,
Into the depths of the dark,
That waves may carry further,
And I look yonder,
With an ache for a future,
Where the water still remains,
With Vibrant Veins of Wonder.
