The grass is brown, covered in leaves. Freshly fallen, painting the yards, in earthly colors. Covering roof tops, filling up the eaves. Bright and vivid, like roses in bloom.
the sweet smell of burning wood, fills the air. As the Sun sinks lower, in the steely gray skies. You know winter, will soon be here. Autumn will soon be gone, covered by winter's snow.
winter's sleep will claim, the mighty oak. snoozing, til the dawn of spring. When the Sun chases, away the cold winter. again, the birds shall sing.
the green will, once again prevail. New blooms, will spring up gaily all around. Adding color, to the once dull scene. life will begin again, from the ground.
