Living is hectic, life treats me unkindly Never enough time, never enough money No guidebooks so I stumble along blindly Getting up daily is so hard, it isn't funny
Sanity seems all gone, I'm so batty A piece of me here, a piece of me there The kids, even the wife gets so bratty They are spending us into welfare
As I sit here vacant, into space I stare Everyones taking, no one's given back I look for a way out of this nightmare From all sides I'm under constant attack
Choices are few, only option is prayer To leave, to run, is out of the question When I lost control I am not even aware I don't even know upon deep reflection
Oh to be a kid again, life without pressure Where life was fun and living was easy Where daily there were gales of laughter Living was always simple and quite breezy
