From deep within I feel the burn The lies and the hurt from betrayal Honesty is the key that turns But won't open this lock that's so frail ~~ I try my best not good enough I hurt inside,I feel the pain I know how it feels to live in vain My mind screams insane ~~ I want more then life can bring Needing what others won't give Is no one real anymore? Who'll give me a reason to live ~~ Life is a gift so short But many do not understand I fear only pain I hold out my hand ~~ I hold out til my fingers go numb But no one seems to see The hurt and the pain deep with in They see the facade that is me. ~~~~ Floreann Cawley & Maryfrances Perez
