“Articles” can be deceiving. When I think of an article, I first imagine the written word. Someone’s opinion, world news or human interest.
I also imagine an article of clothing. Fashion, creativity. Fun with patterns and colors that don’t match.
But I have a surprise hidden in my “Articles” category.
Not many people would even think of looking because reading an article can be drudgery, tiring.
Behind my “Articles” lie samples of my paintings. Layers of exuberant color.
Watercolor, but not the pale kind. Watercolor that is vivid and subject matter that is varied.
I wanted to let you know. Just in case you enjoy art. Or, on impulse, might consider a new observation, from someone with fifty-two years of study and experience.
It is really too bad AD doesn't have art, illustration, and music sections. I've been watching the Antiques Roadshow and find that an old painting is usually far more valuable than an old book.
Articles are "things"....individual ARTICLES/ITEMS (at least that's what I think of!!!!)....and your paintings are absolutely extraordinary "THINGS" and beautiful "ARTICLES".....thanks for pointing the way to those who would perhaps not think to look there for your work.
