When I'm fighting depression I start writing down a "gratitude list". Introspect is always an eye opener!

As Kris said, "Why Me Lord" Many times a day I look in at the person I am Oh, it's hard when you're bored To stay on the path When you're man isn't where he should be Sometimes just a kind word Would be treasured so much Just to hear a kind word Would be nice Sure he works Night and day Just to pave the way I am slippin' again Help me please I need love I need love More than money or fame Give me you You are what I fell for As Kris said, "Why Me Lord" How did I find you When I look at the person I am

Budd, Lily, Jerry and I agree on this one. I truly value these two lines in this well-expressed poem: "Give me you/You are what I fell for" Although changing 'what' to 'who,' since this subject is a person, is a suggestion.....I'd sure say those two marvelously-worded lines to someone who may be slipping away. Good perplexing question as your last two lines. More please :) ~~ Diana

Jerry is right, and men are not mind readers either. You have to let them know what you need. Otherwise, they go on their merry way thinking everything is just fine.

Men are men. It took me many years to understand that women just need a lingering touch at the right time, or a neck nuzzle for no apparent reason. Here Jane is a (((((supple kiss on the nape of your neck.)))))
