Mend

I wish the emotional rips and tears were as easy to mend as a ripped seam!

Poem Artwork

Something needed mending
Seam had been stressed out some
Fav'rite hurts to let it go
Hate to get a new one so
Fix it or will see if it can take it

Got the magic box out
Lot's of loose ends in it
Needles which hurt when they prick
Patches ready for to stick
Find the thread to put it back together

Spool was empty damn it
Some things can't be mended
Put it in the pile of stuff
That gets bigger sure enough
Overwhelming damaged do tomorrows

Overwhelming seams and tears and thread lost, and empty spools. Whew! Sounds to me like a glass of cheap California burgundy would hit the stop.

My other half has several types of sewing machines and she still never seems to get things done...I think its just a woman thing...LOL, e
