I'd like to know if anyone knows how to make the good times stick around.

Poem Artwork

For my wins and my loses
Face up down coin tosses
The bad and the good
Come go as they should

There are none here forever
Unless one so clever
Has the trick so learned
Come unscathed unburned

If that one doth now hear me
Share it now so dearly
Then under my hat
'Twill be and that's that

WELL, MY FRIEND, YOU KNOW WHERE I'M COMING FROM. THINGS CAN GET PRETTY 'STICKY' ON THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN, INDEED. AND, AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED, THERE ARE MORE DOWN TIMES...THEN UP TIMES. THE ONLY WAY I'M ABLE TO 'PRESS ON'? THE 'JOY' OF MY COMPANION. HE'S GOT IT ALL COVERED AND THAT'S HOW I DO IT...IT'S ALL 'HIM'! I, OF MYSELF, WOULD HAVE GIVEN UP YEARS AGO, AMEN. I BETCHA KNEW I WAS GOING TO SAY THAT(SMILE). THANKS FOR THE SHARE. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

If bad did not exist we would not be able to taste the sweet nectar of good!
A lovely philosophical write.

We have to deal with both of them, the good times and the bad times.
If we always try to make the best of it, the good times will be even better and the bad times will not be that bad at all.

Jane, all I know is we have to take the bad and the good...that is how it works out.

If we could pull off good times all the time, that would be a nice hat trick.

Won't you be my Valentine?

The Yin and the Yang, balance in all things...
It is what you choose to do with it, but to keep
it under your hat and not let it go tisn't good either...

So "Be happy" or try to...

i can't answer Ed's question none of mine have, but the good has always been worth the bad in between, but i would have a hard time hiding it under my hat too

Just stay as high as you can & yes Jerry you are all wet...have you forgiven anyone of late, for whatever transgression that person has done...e

My answer would be to forgive the bad and compliment the good, and it should work into a perfect fit. Of course it has to be a two-way street with the forgiveness and compliments. I could be all wet too, but that's what I'll share since you asked.

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
