Natural Sedative

Listen to the silence..........

Poem Artwork

Mowers are mowing
Weed wackers going
Garbage trucks dumping
Street washer thumping

Phone rings I answer
No one's there........no sir!
TV is braying
Lies news is spraying

Now is when I don
My boots and I'm gone
Down by the Marsh trails
Look up at cat tails

Sit on a rock while
I once again smile
Serene my mind gets
The madness forgets

My sedative is
Nature and "Her" bliss
Nothing's more calming
Than "Mother's balming

Nature saves me over and over.
I got myself surrounded by coyotes yesterday. I just found it a miracle.
I am always glad when we are not out of the woods yet.

I have a very similar photo, I should write a take-off to this for fun, it's this dirt trail with cattails, the whole thing. I've mostly heard thunderstorms today-tonight,but, get this poem.
