To be able to sleep On my own without pills Sleep like that had been mine Before life brought me my ills Perhaps one time an eve To the loo one might go Then fall back asleep Delta sleep where'd ya go My cat walks past my feet Curls up falls fast asleep I'm so jealous of her That hair ball little creep It is five thirty five I've been up for an hour Klonopin here I come Put me under you pow'r Jane Noponen Perinacci

I have experience insomnia... ...not pleasant. However, I have often used the time to "play" with words and speak into my digital recorder. Most of my limericks have come from the middle of the night. Love and best wishes to you, Jane,

What a perfect description of insomnia. Working with my doctor we have finally found my nightly cocktail that works for me. Don't give up keep working with your doc, medicine is not an exact science and trying to find something that works specifically for you may take awhile. I feel for you.

So sorry to hear that Jane. It is brutal to lay there for hours on end unable to sleep. We just have to learn how to turn of the thinking process.

Oh do I ever relate to this, Jane. I go through a whole ritual of pills and wine in order to sleep. This is a good one.
