I wrote this poem many years back.

When you think that you know someone Then you find out that you don't Sure can leave you feeling lonesome Trust again? You feel you won't You have opened up your heart to One you loved who doesn't care When they use it to make you blue That's a very hefty fare Leaves your mind and soul so empty Tears are falling all night long Eyes so puffy that you can't see 'Cause someone has done you wrong That's the time to find a new way Chase those blues right out the door Keep on heading towards a new day That lies on a brand new shore Jane Noponen Perinacci

I don't think we ever really know someone, and there is always risk when we put our hearts on the line, but the benefits are worth the risk.

Way to go Jane, there is always a new tomorrow. There is always a beach where the previous footprints have been washed away and you are able to leave those behind that make you happy.
