My favorite time of the year.

Poem Artwork

Evening breezes Halloween
Trick or Treaters can be seen
Moon is glowing as its showing
Spooky figures in the street

Witches run through leaves that swirl
Cinderella little girl
Pumpkins lit with scary faces
Promises of something sweet

Frankenstein with Igor roam
Slowly limp from home to home
Boy with bag on head approaches
Dragging big shoes on his feet

Kids go home to check their haul
Go to sleep........but in the hall
Shadow moves the child is sleeping
Halloween is made complete

Great ghoulish account of a fantastic holiday for children, young and old.

Saw all those little characters last year at the zoo. Made the mistake of going there on Halloween and it seems that every little girl was a princess, at least for a day. Could hardly see the animals for all the little monsters. ;-)

You tryin to scare us, I have a hard enough time taking my midnight walks as it is and you got to bring up all this, I'm gonna tell my mommy, you skeered me... <smile> -e-

Ah, love this sweet Halloween poem, sha, you gathered together all the usual suspects, but put such a nice glow around them they didntt seem scary at all.
