The idea of zombies is so preposterous to be almost laughable. Unfortunately, the mythology arises from drunkards who drank from clay containers leaching lead, mercury, arsenic or other metals in compound in the fired or unfired containers. All of these metals in the bloodstream and affect the brain. Quite often, heavy drinking resulted in strange behavior and even coma.
Stories of people rising up from funeral tables or beds are quite common, as well as people actually escaping from coffins and graves. These incidents spawned many stories leading up to the current zombie craze. However, the idea that these deranged beings can go on indefinitely without food and water is utterly preposterous.
As for human beings flash freeze-dried, it's already happening and based on recent discoveries all humans, like frogs, can be completely frozen and then restored to life, this little idea will come true sometime in the future.
