Just a poem about a walk I took today. Picture taken by moi.

Sun shining went out for a walk Jacket tied 'round me at waist Warm day but cool breeze kicked up In the woods I put that jacket on Saw white tails and toads hopping 'round Walked slowly no need for haste Green sprouts everywhere I looked Sun looked like it soon was goin' down Made way out of woods on the street Jacket buttoned up and laced See that moon up in the sky Like it's saying goodnight to the sun Jane Noponen Perinacci��

"Just a poem" as you say, but it is much more than "just a poem". It is a poem that has echoes of Thoreau and Frost, who also "walked in the wood." John
