This morning at 5 A.M. came through the Marsh..................could. not. see. a. thing..

Never before been such a fog Bayou and Marsh now just a dream Come up to village barks a dog Power went out air's thick as cream Not one light do I see at first A candle here a flashlight there Know we're in tuned to get the worst A storm gone past is in the air Enjoying clean air still the fog Around my ankles holds me tight It's pulling me onto the bog Heard tell a full moon's come tonight Jane Noponen Perinacci

When I read in the poem about fog and rain and storms, with the "air's thick as cream", I feel envious here in the hot desert with the relentless sun every day of the year. Oh for some fog and rain. Nice write. John

Oh boy! Gotta watch out for those full moons, and that's a fact. We had some bad weather yesterday also, but thank goodness the power didn't go out.
