So we didn't win the game
But they paid and yes they came
Thousand dollar standing fee
Watch for nothing on TV

Teams were playing neck and neck
Crowded to the upper deck
Cubs they won Indians lost
For so many such a cost

TO NEVER HAVE QUALIFIED FOR THE 'SPOT' TO CONTEND FOR THE VICTORY WOULD HAVE BEEN SAD AGAIN. BUT THIS TIME THEY GOT CLOSE AND DID QUALIFY AND PLAYED. THE FACT THAT THEY LOST IS ALRIGHT, 'CAUSE THOSE THAT REALLY ARE THEIR FANS ARE DISAPPOINTED BUT THEY STILL LOVE 'UM. WHAT'S REALLY IMPORTANT IS 'THEY TRIED' AND THERE WILL BE MANY MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO GO FOR IT AGAIN. CHIN UP! THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Hey, both teams played like hell in that game seven and the fans of both teams had fun watching them, as did I...The Tribe still has next year and I can't wait to watch them some more for free. -e-

No offense, but baseball is just a game and a lame game at that;
puts me to sleep in a wink, bleary-eyed don't have to think; and those poor little players who spit and scratch, laugh all the way to the bank, right after they kiss their owner's fat a*ses. Yeah, there's a sucker born every minute. And some of them pay $19,000 for a rotten seat. Not me. I have a 50 cent bag of popcorn, a 2 dollar glass of wine, and watch a free movie on tv--and get the best seat in the house!

The Cubs won.
The Indians are done.
But Cleveland fans,
have no fear,
As always,
just wait til next year.

Don't be sad,
for the Indians fate.
We've still got the Browns,
at O and eight.

Yeah, you're right, Jane, many, many bucks were won and lost when Cleveland went down for the final out. Never mind how the Cleveland players felt.
