That must be one thick quilted comforter that you love to hit for an hour of silence in your busy, busy life. But, if you are falling on a field of cotton, be aware that there are very sharp "pickers" that house those cotton balls--and they ain't very nice or soft neither. ;-)
Great poem ,Jane! It is quite easy to become so busy, especially during this time of year, that we may indeed leave ourselves somewhere,and in doing so completely forget the real reason for this glorious season.But you ,I don't believe,leave yourself too often because of the beautiful poetry you write.

It is a frustrating situation when everything and everyone wants a part of you. Try as you may attempt to please them all at the same time, maybe it is best to tackle one situation as they come up. Yes! Find that "hour claim it is all mine." Absolutely!
