You are a wise poet (as opposed to a wise ass poet boy like me). While those highfalutin works by the literary elite may gather kudos, awards and laureates, the poetry and prose that we remember the most are those very simple, yet forceful, words that reach everyone and touch them greatly.
Such smarts from a "common woman", you have given me something to think about but I don't find myself losing a thought when I pause only when those thoughts come to me just before sleep, then I lose them all as you as a writer can understand the cause...-e-
Couldn't agree more, Jane. I write metered poetry when I rhyme, but of course un-metered when I free style. I like both styles of poetry. Eh, yeah, I'm having it both ways.
