Just a thought.

Poem Artwork

There is someone in this house
No doubt left in my mind
Either specter or a mouse
Wonder what I will find

Sometimes it's between the walls
Sometimes here sometimes there
As it walks down all the halls
Descending down the stair

As I grab the ax to kill
What it is. It must die.
Before it kills me at will
Raise the ax. Raise it high.

See it lying on the floor
Down the ax to it's skull
Someone died in here last night
In your mind let it mull

Now that's pretty dark. Probably have night mares tonight. :-)
Very descriptive and indeed makes the reader wonder if its a Madman or a Murderer you are writing about. I'm thinking both.

Love it! Love it! You've reached the dark depths of my mind and made it shiver in delight. I will mull over this poem as I wait for more.

This poem is a little gem. The house itself makes its own sounds, a ghost in its own right, as well as the ghosts of the mind.
