I remember going Trick or Treating. Fun times!!

Poem Artwork

Walking up a hill
On Halloween night
Goblins ghosts a witch
Think I'm getting a fright
Who's got the flashlight
Give me nothing else
Did you find it yet
Come look for yourself

Down the hill is home
Jack-O-Lanterns bright
Anderson's house next
Stop! Saw something jump
Go look over there
I went over there
Where's that darn flashlight
Come look for yourself

IMAGINATION...WHERE A GOOD ONE WILL TAKE YOU, AT THE RIGHT TIME AND PLACE(LIKE HALLOWEEN NIGHT ON A HILL), HAS N-0 BOUNDARIES. THANKS FOR THE SHARE. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Yes, for sure it is that time of the year. I also remember Trick or Treating. A fun time was had by all, except old Mister Scrouge.

This was a scary write,
I must say,
But look for myself...
There's no way.

Ooooh!!! This is scary!!! I enjoyed the atmosphere you have created.

This one reminds me of when we were small my siblings and I would often visit a lightless back alley and we would equip ourselves with flashlights. Someone told us a woman had committed suicide by hanging herself on one of those trees and we went there to look for her ghost. It was scary but a lot of fun. We never found her ghost, but we've found a great big spider one night which scared us half to death. LOL!!!!!

Oh, how we all did it back then, what memories you resurrect in this poem. Wonderful.

Was that neighbour HANS Andersen?
He would approve this flash in the
dark Halloween poem!
