Your verses draw me into that mood that you have created... ...and I can very much relate. We need rain (snow in the mountains) very much here. March was much drier than normal and forest fires are already starting. This climate change is very real... ...and makes me sad and apprehensive for upcoming generations. A lovely poem indeed, and so true to boot. How I long for the pitter-patter of rain over here. Actually today is cloudy and a little cool (20 degrees C), so hopefully it will be a good day, just as the poem says.

This is a beautiful and sad poem. I hope the rain takes away the pain. I'm sure that sun will come out and warm everybody up!
A wonderful little poem to get you through the dreary days of upcoming April rains and the thought of recent losses. So wonderful when the sun peeks out at the end.
