But we must be thankful that all is not lost.
There are still some parts that were saved to view another day.

I remember visiting many years ago. You are right. Her memory will never fade and they will rebuild, as they have done before in the past through the turmoil of many years.

It was so hard to watch and could not turn away from the TV
who would ever have thought Notre Dame of all the lovely structures on earth might suffer such loss
inspiring to know first responders hurried in to save as much as possible, brave priest went in with them to protect the crown of thorns
so many world wide donating for the rebuild, wonderful to see
