When the days are quiet,  my thoughts drift away

To a special person,  I met on my birthday

 I never expected to have those feelings

With the mistakes I'd made,  my head was still reeling

You came along at a time and a place

When my life was very difficult to face

You made me laugh,  you made me sing

And for the first time I realized;  my happiness meant everything

Although you didn't know,  you helped me to see

That one day I will find harmony

And a love to call my own

For two people who met by chance
