Pitter-Patter
March 19, 2013
Stomping around in bratty swirls
She callously whips the wind around
Staring into my weary red eyes
As I search the once-azure sky
For the answers I already know
The nails from above were pounding me down
In the pitter-patter of relentless night
The onyx dark bled into shattered diamond dawn
But as the shards rained down harder
I knew that I had won
Because might becomes a weakness
