Poem describing the pain of heartbreak.

Elated when I met you 
Ecstatic when I talked to you 
Never knew what love at first sight felt like. 
   
Mesmerized by your appearance 
Captivated by your presence 
Never knew what true beauty looked like. 
   
Enthralled by your grace 
Allured by your charms 
Never knew what true admiration held like. 
   
Excited by your touch 
Electrified by your kiss 
Never knew what true passion burned like. 
   
Devastated by your betrayal 
Destroyed by your departure 
Never knew what true pain hurt like...  Until now.
