A wonderful poem pointing out all of the high points of autumn, arguably the favorite season for those in the temperate climates because of the harvest and the changing of forest color and other beauty like cool weather.
It is interesting that the high points you mentioned are holy days. Our holidays. Generally in the past, when it turned cooler, everyone had to work a lot harder to bring in the harvest before winter set in. Time off was only granted during an hour or two for church. Seeking more free time, we invented the holidays so that laborers, honored today, Labor Day, could at least have a day or two with family to worship and enjoy everyone being together. That still exists, but we look at it a bit differently now for many reasons I won't go into. Probably the worst example is so many using those days for shopping-feeding our consumer habit.
Perhaps "..Quiet Storm" will help rekindle old flames buried and long forgotten or express the love so deeply locked inside of your soul longing to be released.
