I am not one much for editing and I know because of this fault, I often leave errors in my works that should not be there. You did make me think that I should try and take more care in the future, thank you George for the reminder.

Very insightful. I do tend to write it and just let it go, I should be more like Jerry and let it grow. Though I'd never know when it is right.

My thoughts have no accent,
They are silent in me.
Yet if I think of sounds,
Then they are alive.

This is such a profound insight, George. And yes, I think it extremely important that the sounds bring the life because primarily poetry is an oral/aural communication and designed to be heard. I am never happy if my poetry don't sound good out loud, partly because I am intoxicated by the music and rhythm of words, but also because it just doesn't seem right. I know other poets think differently and believe that it is the correctness of the word that counts, however it looks or sounds on the page. And yes... I've changed at least six words even in this review already!! LOL!! SO GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK HERE AGAIN WHERE YOU BELONG!! Love you, Kate xx

I write a poem. Let it simmer for a couple of days and go back over it. I almost always find something to change to hopefully make it better.
