Colors Of Friendship

The Lord's palette

Is busy this time of year.

So many leaves to paint,

So many colors and hues.

 

It makes me wonder,

Can I change also?

Bring some cheer to one who's near,

Or one far away at war?

 

Mend some fences,

That harsh words broke down.

Give a hug and I'm sorry,

And the good deed is done.

 

Say a prayer to God,

If bychance you've forgotten him.

These are the colors of friendship,

That we can color with a good word.

The beautiful palette of words you paint here are the true meaning of life's journey as we meet new people throughout our lives. Do they stay... do they go? A careful examination should provide the information one needs. Good, lasting friendships are hard to come by and are to be treasured.
