The time is approaching for change And it's all in your hands. It will be the most important event In the history of our Country. Our Constituation has been subverted Health care law he proposed Is being challenged in the courts. Catholics have challenged his mandate. Our men and women serving us Are being put in jeopardy By leaks from high places And not given adequate protection. Our Ambassordor and Three others have been killed White House clains by a mob When it was well planned by terrorists. Lies upon lies, how much more Can we take when our Country Is going to be in jeopardy If this keeps on going like it has been.

I don't like to involve myself in political controversy I am an independent and weigh all. I do not claim either Democrat, Republican, Liberal, or Conservative... I do claim the right to research all and find truth among media views and stick to the facts.

But, I can say you wrote this very well

Will say I do not want the man in again that is there now though lol

We don't have runs on banks and bread lines. We don't have missiles aimed at us from Cuba. We don't have Tammany Hall. We don't have a threat of World War III.

What we have is nostalgia for a way of life that never was and probably never will be, because we now have a world economy and world problems to deal with and no longer can be the richest nation with the most arrogant attitude based on our rape of our natural resources and rush to be the best in everything and winner take all.

We do need a revision of the Constitution because much of it is archaic or just plain obsolete in the twenty first century.

... sounds like the familiar story as with so many of our western democracies and elected governments these days, George. There's just a few super powers in commerce behind all of this, you can bet and our governments are become the tail being wagged by the dirty dogs in oil and pharmaceuticals. Follow the money chain back and super-greed is the bedrock causing global stangulation. Trans Pacific Pacts and all that...

On a MUCH happier note, how it thrills my heart to see you posting so regularly here again after having felt earlier this year that you'd almost put your pen away! SEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! A poet never quits. Good to see you artistically thriving again. xx
