Of all the baggage

I've carried through life

None has weighed me down

Like words from politicians.

They don't mask their lies.

They look into the camera

And never flinch a muscle

So trained are they at deception.

I have seen tyrants and killers

Using the same aplomb.

Never admit you are wrong,

Just keep feeding lies to us dumb.

Fortunately all these liars

Come to the same end.

They are buried like we are,

Under six feet of dirt.

History is kind to the worst of men;

No sense kicking a dead horse again.

But once in a great while, the truth is told,

And their legacy seems to unfold.

Save us the wait and let's see it now.

For it comes before our faces on TV

Almost on a daily basis covered with cream

But no cherry, for it melts before wise eyes.

I agree with Deborah...
A lie must be covered by another lie...
This moment in our political history is an obamanation to all of us...
The problem is the wise no better and those who voted
for these liars cover their eyes with blinders...

Excellent write George...

George,

I wonder if THEY know we can see right through the lies? I see those faces every day on the TV, billboards, I'm glad we can see through the smile!

Love and blessings,
