I decided to walk,

I had time to spare.

The morning was pleasant

And I hadn't a care.

The sparrows were chirping,

Waiting to get fed.

A typical morning in June,

As children to their busses were led.

I reached my destination.

The waiting room was empty,

Must be the first patient.

Soon the dentist was ready.

As I was walkimg home

My nervousness was gone.

My tooth was filled with no pain

Not ready to sing a song.

.

Not many of us can walk to the dentist. You should sing that you're still able to get your teeth filled and not have them pulled.

I'm glad you walked. At least you had some entertainment on the way that perhaps got your mind off of where you were going.

Love ya!

Jane

Aww...so sweetly put words, who likes a visit to a dentist anyhow, but with this poem, one can dare :)
Take care and my best wishes,
