It is so glad to see you posting again. Unfortunately, while poets still post here and follow their favorite daily posters. But if you take the time to reciprocate and comment on other posts, while expecting throngs to come to your offerings… Don't.

I have been accused of commenting and encouraging very bad poetry (as though that were some sort of literary sin) and then, writing offhand comments and bad things about poetry that are supposed to be of a higher level of literary expertise--whatever that is?

I always found your very direct, personal and homespun daily postings interesting. But once you stop doing that daily, others stopped looking for your poems. Out of sight, out of mind.

PS. The reason I'm so late in commenting on this is that I have been reading and commenting on all of the books, stories and articles every day and have not caught up with poetry for a while. If everyone did what I do, everyone posting here would be very happy. I am.

this is a good reminder for all of us to ask ourselves, why are we writing, why do we do it. thank you, as i have read your letter, i have reflected on my own intentions and reminded me being able to write is being able to share it to the world no matter the audience. i hope you find what you are looking for as what you have reminded me of. i am grateful. the world is only a reflection of you. pls know that you are always deeply loved.
