Surround me with black and white
soft or hard.

In search of tall buildings
where secrets unfold.

Embrace silence
mind dances to rhythm
eyes move left to right
fingers tingle with delight.

Reach for another...lights go out.

A voice calls out...hey, we're closing
the library, goodnight.

You blighter!!! Hmmm, prolly says more about me.
Indeed, we can be so captured, raptured once we are enveloped between the black and white sheets. The sheets that would never have existed if it wasn't for black sitting there on white.

Damn! I thought this was going to get very hot, and then I realized, in Marshall McLuhan's terminology it was about "cool" media… The overwhelming love of books. Cool.
