teach the clay how to form

its highest aspiration

let the purpose and the timing

introduce themselves

they will rediscover their old friendship

and bring everyone else along with them

when they come

what can you learn?

do you see in this?

the thin gauze seems a little out of place

a little transparant to what

we would otherwise see

i know all of my own imperfections

much more clearly than you think

i have to see, and i do see

and i learn by what i see

but i shouldn't be so shocked

when you don't seem to believe

i haven't heard what you've heard,

and

i haven't seen what you've seen

but no one will ever understand

if they never look

with a little more sincerity,

and a little more intensity

find the truth and beauty inside

they've been screaming to be heard

i cannot stand here any longer without

exploding from my seat

jumping and shouting to be heard...

HEAR!

...it's just that there's a message

hidden,

someplace inside the void

it's somewhere in the words,

in the word...

Inspiration couched in eloquence and wisdom, Ira, wonderful write! It puts me in mind of my quote on my bio page:

"Make visible what, without you, might never have been seen."
