I haven't been feeling well the past couple of weeks, with problems I can't explain.A fellow poet sent me this to ease life's troubled rains.I thought I would share this beautiful gift.

Poem Artwork

Hello Lord it’s me who calls
I’m in no trouble and void of sin
I know that we don’t talk a lot
but your help I need again
For me I never ask for much
because others are my concern
there is just one thing I beg of you
yes it’s something that I yearn
An angel you have sent us here
is in misery and in pain
the devil has taken a bite of her
though she hurts she don’t complain
Wings are not the things she wears
but she does show a heart so pure
so won’t you place your hands upon her
and deliver a pleading cure
You see this angel does so many things
for others who are in need
her kind words are a thing of comfort
and her care a minds place to feed
It’s just not right to see her ail
when to others a smile she’s brought
so won’t you grant her my request
or at least give it a thought
For nothings worse for one to bare
than to see the Devils bite
upon the soul of a caring angel
and know she suffers all through the night
Now once again I make it clear
it’s for her and not for me
I’m on my knees with folded hands
through my teardrops hear my plea.
Please give easement to this angel
remove the Devil’s ugly bite
let her rest beneath the moonlight
till once again she feels alright
Without her special talents
others will miss her caring way
so place your hands upon her
until her troubles go away

I hope you feel better soon. Your friend has a way with poetry that is simply beautiful and expresses so well his/her concern. The idea of the devil taking a bite is very ingenious and not at all humorous in this sense.

Looking forward to some of your passionate and humorous work soon.

The gentle flowing words are pure and graceful. The spirit within the heart is a gift. Ever so do your thoughts come with praise and hope. The faith of your thoughts are humble. The gift of an angel touching your prayers, will stand over you. Protecting the ones you love. Sharing the blessings you so deserve. Trust the faith of your prayers, an angel will appear just for you.
