Strange dreams of people
Places and events
Plague us with a myriad of emotions.
Often referred to as
Sweet and beautiful
Not unlike the people in our lives
Or dire and woeful
Like that of our fears.
For some of our dreams bring about trepidation.
As we believe they have meaning
If its true ,
Then perhaps we are all seers.
Therefore the psyche can inform us
Much about our world
And beyond.
But do we heed the warnings of our dreams?
Or discard them
Like old newspapers,
Being fruitless and void?
