No Pain

No Pain
 
I am numb from head to toe
Life keeps throwing me for a loop
I am tired of jumping through hoops
 
Spinning around head upside down, I don’t know my left from my right
Everything is so uptight
 
I am being passed around like an old wine bottle
Turning me up
This is the last swallow
 
Reaching out there
Nothing there to touch
Does anyone hear me?
I am running out of luck
Luck has no play in this game
It’s you and me Lord
Nothing has changed
 
All up in the air
With nothing to breathe
Holding on to life
And life has let go of me
Everything is still the same
No Pain

One of the best cures for the funk you are in is to write. I don't mean write just poetry. I mean write what is going on with your life and what needs to change and you will see a way to solve your problems eventually.
